Taxes and Life After College

I am quite familiar with being self employed as both of my parents fall in that category, my mother owns a gift store and my father is a partner in a family farm. I already use and accountant and and understand many of the basic principles about how taxes on small business work and they seem apply to doing freelance work as well. If I plan to continue on with graphic design and start freelancing I will need to have a conversation with my accountant about taxable goods because it seems to be quite confusing about what is and is not taxable when it comes to non tangible goods. Overall I am already paying these taxes on the artwork that I have sold, and just need to get a better understanding of how to charge and tax for providing a service.
