Here is a somewhat secretive job posting I found for a company looking for a leed graphic designer. Like most of the jobs I saw they are looking for your to have some experience in the field most of them looking for 2 to 4 years as a minimum. I don't know if this this is exactly the type of job I would want but it certainly sounds interesting and like a fun project.

We’re a small software company looking to hire a Lead Graphic Designer. The individual will be an integral member of our marketing team, working with our product design team as well.

This position is remote, though ideally the candidate would be located in one of the following areas in order to meet with team members on a periodic basis: Scranton/Pocono Mountains, Greater Seattle, or Bend, Oregon.

The individual would initially work with our existing style guides and brand guidelines while collaborating with team leads to refresh each of our brands and the products within. Creation of new and original designed content to support marketing initiatives Create content offers like infographics and briefs utilizing data provided by subject matter experts Create social media assets (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)Lead re-branding of our products Strategize with our core group on branding and graphic-centric campaigns, create assets, meet deadlines and distribute to marketing and development for either distribution or inclusion in our various products and websitesCreate promotional print material in support of our marketing and trade show operations


Related degree (graphic design, visual communications, digital media, etc.) with at least 2 years of professional experience Strong portfolio reflecting production experience in multiple disciplines including graphic design and typography (photography, video editing/graphics, and/or motion graphics a plus)Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) or Creative Suite 6+ (Experience with Premiere Pro and/or After Effects a big plus)Strong experience working with and designing in G Suite (Google Docs, Slides, etc.)Technical literacy and experience with collaboration and communications tools like Slack and G Suite Ability to develop and produce briefing boards, posters, logos, branding images, and presentations, as well as digitally-designed documents, charts, photographs, and diagrams that effectively communicate information in print and digital formats including web, social media, and email Experience designing websites/landing pages, with working knowledge of HTML and CSS a big plus Ability to travel within the US once or twice a year


Careful attention to detail (in particular, typography, spacing, color, and scale)Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - we’re big on over-communicating here Self-driven and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong time management skills and flexible work approach to ensure deadlines are always met while expectations are properly managed A team player capable of high performance, flexibility in a dynamic working environment, and the ability to lead branding, campaign, and marketing conversations Previous experience working primarily or exclusively remotely also a bonus
